SHRED DAY:
Mark your calendars—our 7th Annual Free Community Shred Day is coming up on Saturday, May 17 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at 873 E Washington St. in Charles Town. This free event is a great chance to safely dispose of old personal documents—no registration needed. Simply bring paper items (no cardboard, plastic, binders, or electronics, please) and join us for a morning of spring cleaning and community connection. Hosted by The Kable Team at Real Broker and co-sponsored by Colin Wauchope, VP of Mortgage Lending at Guaranteed Rate Affinity, this annual tradition is one of our favorite ways to give back. We hope to see you there!
MOVIE NIGHT:
We’re thrilled to invite you to our annual Family Movie Night on Friday, June 13th at The Amp at Sam Michaels Park! This year’s feature is The Wild Robot, a touching animated adventure based on the beloved book by Peter Brown. Follow the story of Roz, a robot who mysteriously washes ashore on a remote island and must learn to survive—and connect—with the animals around her. It’s a heartwarming tale about friendship, resilience, and finding your place in the world. Gates open at 7:30 PM, and the first 100 guests will enjoy free snacks, so come early, bring your lawn chairs or blankets, and settle in for a memorable evening under the stars!
